The Hotcue Buttons drop-down menu from the Preferences.
The Hoctcue Buttons preference for the S4 affects the REMIX SLOTS functionality differently
depending on which mode you select:
▪ Legacy Mode: In Legacy mode, the REMIX SLOTS buttons function as follows:
◦ Pressing an unlit REMIX SLOTS button will capture a Sample from the capture source
Deck / start playback/ retirgger playback.
◦ Pressing SHIFT + a REMIX SLOTS button will enter Edit mode for the Sample Slot, in
which the Loop MOVE and the Loop SIZE encoders control the volume and filter set-
tings, respectively. The REMIX SLOTS buttons flashes when Edit mode is activated for
a Sample Slot.
▪ Remix Mode: in Remix mode, the REMIX SLOTS buttons function as follows:
